What to Expect
Our patient visit is about getting to know you and understanding your goals for your dental health. Your Aultman dentist will meet with you to learn more about your medical and dental history along with any concerns you may have.
Your dentist will thoroughly examine your teeth and review any necessary x-rays or photographs. We will talk with you about your preferences and provide you with recommendations to keep your smile healthy.
Dental Emergencies
Toothache pain is high on the list of things most people never want to have. Sometimes, however, a broken tooth, fall, or sports injury require emergency dental care. If you have any problems with your teeth, always call us as soon as symptoms begin. Early signs of dental problems include sensitivity to hot and cold, throbbing ‘twinges’ of tooth pain, or any type of swelling in the mouth, chin or cheek area. In the event of severe pain, facial swelling or trauma after hours, please go to the closest medical emergency room for immediate care.
